HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Apply 4-6 drops to freshly cleansed skin. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, our Ultra-Clarifying Facial Oil wears beautifully under makeup; allow 3-5 minutes for the product to absorb before applying.

Facial oils should be layered over your moisturizing creams and serums to lock-in active ingredients and create a moisture seal on the skin. Always apply a facial oil as the last step in your skincare routine. Our Blue Tansy & GLA Ultra-Clarifying Oil is formulated to be the perfect partner to our Rosehip & Sea Buckthorn Restorative Night Oil. When used together, we recommend the Ultra-Clarifying Oil for morning use and the Restorative Night Oil for evening use. Everyone's skin is different ~ if you find that you crave the lightweight hydration of our Ultra-Clarifying Oil during the evening, it is perfectly acceptable to make it a part of your nighttime routine!

INGREDIENTS

BORAGE OIL is nature’s richest known source of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), an Omega-6 Fatty Acid thought to be missing from the sebum of blemish-prone skin, that has been shown to reduce inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesions on the skin (aka, reduce breakouts). Our Borage Oil is cold-pressed and organic, and helps to promote healthy skin cell regeneration.

GRAPESEED OIL, one of the most lightweight and fast-absorbing carrier oils available, is an important source of Omega-6 Fatty Acids, known to nourish and protect the skin, leading to improved texture and a more even tone. This dry-feel oil works to prevent transepidermal water loss and promote all-day, lightweight hydration for dull and stressed skin.

My “problem” skin is not a problem!!

I was told Cystic acne and scaring was “just part of my life, like freckles or eye color” by the derm.

I’ve been using the day and night oil for about 3 months…. waiting for a breakout, but haven’t had one! still in shock, I’m not used to skin things working for me! What a game changer. Thanks for creating this!!

Staple skincare item

I've had problems with my skin in the past, and I am SO LUCKY that I came across this oil. I bought it this past summer, and haven't had to use anything else since. I pair it with my moisturizer, and I've found that I haven't experienced any breakouts, blemishes, redness, you name it. I couldn't recommend this enough. It isn't oily on my skin, it smells like heaven, and it's super lightweight. Although the color of the oil does seem to change color over time, I think it looks really pretty and it still works well on me :)

I am taking the time to write three reviews on this website today because this brand is really the best thing I have tried this past year. I really appreciate their sample set, and I would recommend anyone who is quirking an eyebrow at the price to simply order that first (it's $6 and ships for free and you get to try the four core products). I did that so I could try this oil before buying a full-size bottle. Up until this year I did not use moisturizer or really do anything at all other than occasionally applying sunscreen. Since I had oily skin for so long (teens and 20s and into my 30s) it took me a while to come around to the idea of oil being the solution, but it really is, at least for my skin. This oil feels lightweight but I also need to use very little of it; at a pace of one or two drops per day, this bottle would last me for more than a year. I tried many things that didn't work in the past year but this is a keeper. Used on its own or over a light moisturizer, it adds just enough hydration to my skin that I no longer stop during the day and think, huh, that patch of skin on my face feels dry. Nor do I stop and think, ugh, my face feels oily. (I currently also really recommend the Sunday Standard's oil-to-milk cleansing balm, which pairs well with this). Since I haven't yet used this in the summer I'm curious what might change as the weather shifts, but I know I will want this again come winter no matter what.

Finally!

This is it. I have used countless moisturizers and never have found my "go-to" until now. This product is light weight, fast absorbing and has been healing my skin! It has made my skin so wonderful, I sometimes skip the makeup and just rock the oil. THANKS Emma!

Amazing Products & Amazing Customer Service!

I had recently purchased the travel size of the day oil to try and noticed it began to turn a different color. I reached out to The Sunday Standard via Instagram to inquire if this was common. Not only did they respond quickly, but they explained what may have been the cause (switching locations, which switched up the storing conditions) and offered to send me a new bottle!
