Recommended AM Skincare Routine:

1. Cleanse with the Superfood Oil-to-Milk Cleansing Balm, or simply rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat try. If using our Superfood Cleansing Balm, be sure to apply the balm to dry skin (not wet) - this is how the cleanser works its magic! Massage into dry skin for 30-60 seconds before rinsing clean with warm water. Pat skin dry with a clean towel.

2. Apply 3-5 drops of the 18% Vitamin C + E Booster Serum evenly to the face.

3. Follow with 3-5 drops of the Blue Tansy & GLA Clarifying Day Oil; this is a great time in your skincare routine to give yourself a short self massage! Self massage promotes lymphatic drainage and helps our oils absorb deeply into the skin.

4. Allow 10-15 minutes for your products to fully absorb before applying sunscreen or makeup.

Recommended PM Skincare Routine.

1. Remove makeup with the Superfood Cleansing Balm, following the same steps as outlined above. Don't forget to use your cosmetic spoon with the balm so as not to contaminate your products!

2. Twice weekly, or daily as a spot treatment for active breakouts, use the Purifying Clay Mask. Mix 1/2 tablespoon of mask powder with a small amount of water in a bowl until smooth. Use a mask brush to apply evenly to the skin, avoiding the sensitive eye area. Allow to dry for 3-5 minutes, or longer if desired (we do not recommend allowing the mask to dry out completely on your skin). Rinse clean with warm water.

3. Apply 3-5 drops of the Rosehip & Sea Buckthorn Restorative Night Oil evenly to the face. This is another great opportunity to give yourself a quick facial massage!

If you'd like to incorporate a second cleanse, cream moisturizer, mist, PM serum, or sunscreen into your routine, we recommend doing so in this order:

The Sunday Standard, our in-house line of skincare, body care, and wellness products, was launched in 2018 in response to our shop founder Emma's desire to create the skincare line she'd always dreamed of - one that would help to heal her painful, cystic acne at a cellular level, rather than simply minimize her current breakout while she waited for the next one to (inevitably) appear.

Formulated to provide the skin with the nutrients it needs to function optimally, and without the use of harsh hormone-disrupting ingredients, The Sunday Standard offers products that work to support the skin's lipid barrier, normalize the skin's natural oil production, reduce the occurrence of active breakouts, minimize and fade blemishes, and support healthy skin aging.

Our products are formulated with breakout-prone skin in mind, but work wonderfully to support healthy skin of all types through our gentle, non-comedogenic oil-based skincare system.

The Sunday Standard products are produced weekly in small-batches at our Chicago-based cosmetics studio, located behind our Armitage Avenue storefront.
