The unique glass surface smooths with a precise abrasion, eliminating the need for harsh grating or odorous acid peels. The lightly scented stick glides across the skin and melts into an ultra-rich oil that doubles as an all-purpose soother for hands, lips, elbows and more. Its paper push-up tube is a new, less messy way to moisturize at home or for a travel bag. 

What’s in the kit: A non-plastic silicone cover protects the glass foot file. This is paired with a verbena balm in an adjustable twist-up tube. Never-sticky application in a hands-free package.

Suzanne the founder of Bare Hands has always loved the look of natural nails and found that caring for them in an intentional way really changed how she saw herself. The need for natural goes way back to art school when she learned that many solvents for oil-based paint weren’t healthy. She felt that if those solvents weren’t good for fine art use, then surely similar products couldn’t be good for our overall health.

She began talking to people about their habits and researching new methods to solve this problem. Soon it became clear that a lot of women didn’t like the way their nails looked most of the time, and none of them had methods to care for them in a truly natural way. For the many of us that spend time working with our hands in studios, kitchens and offices, and she wanted an alternative to salon manicures that just weren't a sustainable solution.

The Verbena Balm Formula: Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, CERA ALBA (Beeswax), Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Vitamin E (dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate), Calendula officinalis Flower Extract, Cymbopogon schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Oil, Ocimum Basilicum (Basil) Oil, Piper nigrum (Black pepper) Seed Oil.

Once a week with the foot file is a perfect cadence for quick touch ups to keep callus growth in check. Once every 3-4 days with the Verbena Balm to keep feet soft and protected.
