An organic stud with a partially obstructed pearl. Sketched, designed, hand-molded in wax, made and hand-finished in Kara Yoo's Vancouver studio.
Made from Sterling Silver, a highly durable and precious metal, Sterling Silver is an alloy of 92.5% pure or fine silver, and 7.5% copper. Kara Yoo also uses Argentium™ Sterling Silver which is made of 93.5% pure or fine silver, and 6.5% copper and germanium.
For heavily soiled pieces, soak in 1 cup of warm water + 2 drops of dish soap for 10 minutes. Use a soft bristled toothbrush to get into hard spots. Rinse with warm water, and pat dry.
You may also use a polishing cloth (with compound for a shinier polish) and buff to a high shine.
For tarnished chain, it is best to use a "silver dip" jewelry cleaning solution.
